Does it move front or back if you push the memory buttons?
I had a similar problem without the clicking motor. Would not move backwards, but would move frontwards and the memory buttons worked. Dealer thought it was the motor, but I gave the switch in the door a few love taps and it started working again.
Worth a try, at least.

 

No - in my case - I knew the motor was shot ( a previous tap to the motor had got it to work temporarily ... and also to smoke a bit) - I blog'd information on how to go about replacing it as at the time I couldn't really find any information that was detailed on how to go about it. It's not terribly hard to do ... just a little convoluted.
