Hi everybody

Im new to mercedes ownership and am so far very happy with my 1992 230te apart from a small ****le. Basically, as in the title, the self cancelling mechanism on the indicator stalk doesnt work when turing left (fine on a right hand turn). I took it back to the dealer to see if they could fix it and he has said theyve tried their best and its better than it was but not perfect and that it would be an incredibly difficult job to strip everything down etc.

Has anyone any experience of this and do you think im being fobbed off ?
