ignitoin barrel wiring
hi i have an e220 automatic which unfortunately somebody tried to steal........
they never got away with anything except the radio cd but thats easy replaced....
they did , however break the key slot on the ignition barrel, i got a new one but in removing the old one the wiring came away from the rear of the barrel, there is a plug and thats easily re inserted but the individual plugs became seperated from the plug,
there are seven wires can anyone tell me the correct way to connect the seven wires into the plug before plugging it in ? they are various coulors ranging from red to what can only be described as salmon and some other colour,
a wiring diagram would be great of course and i know i can buy a manual but i thought the lovely people on this forum would enjoy flexing their technical knowledge muscles........
thanks for any help
kind regards
