Default How would I add a Sub to the MB stereo?

I want to add a Sub to my 01' C320 stereo. Is there a way to add an output for the amplifier?

You can purchase a RCA converter but you will need to tap into the stock harness. The sound quality is just not that great to be honest.

Oh, that's not encouraging. Is that the only way?

That method is the norm unless you do some creative wiring or you spend the extra to have a well qualified stereo installer do the work and is familiar with OEM Premium sound systems. When I mentioned not sounding good I meant the sound seems filtered not clear. Alot of people opt to just have the system rewired to a multi-channel amp so the sound quality is much clearer and not filtered like the use ofa converter plus not to many installers actually know how to re-wire OEM Premiumsound systems. I experiances this with my wifes Mustang that had a BOSE MACH system.
