Hi, I'm a new member as you might see, and I was hoping someone could help me with a minor repair question I have. My ignition switch recently broke on my '89 300 SEL and I'm trying to replace it, but I'm having a problem just getting the ignition switch cover plate off. I already got half the plate off but the other half is jammed and I'm worried it might break. Does anybody know what the problem could be?
