Recently I bought a 2005 CLK 320 Cabriolet and today my husband moved the car and then when I went to drive it would not unlock with the key fob. Then I removed the fob part from the key and manually unlocked the door. Now when I put the key fob starter key thing in to start the car nothing happens. Absolutely nothing works except a light is blinking red with a tow hook and pic of car on the button. The rear lights are on but no headlights. How do I get it out of this mode before my battery is drained? HELP

Figured it out!
The car battery was dead - thus the key fob would not unlock the car. Once inside the car using the mechanic key we discovered that the light flashing below the tow button simply means that the alarm is activated. We jumped the car and then the alarm sounded since it was opened manually rather than using the key fob. After running the car for a few minutes everything went back to normal. We put a trickle charge on the battery for a bit and now everything is perfect.
Thanks for your responses.
