Default help my 190E is slow

I am looking for some good places to find performance parts for my 89 190E 2.6 I am looking for any ideas I know my way around cars so some fab required is cool with me right now I am not worried about price oh yeah handling ideas also would be great to

Swap the 180E airflow sensor for a 450SE/SEL airflow sensor.The trick to squeezing more power out of the K Jetronic fuel injection is more airflow
That modification will really unleash some impressive
power and is relatively cheap.The only thing you'll have to do is add your 6 cylinder fuel distributor to the 8 cylinder airflow sensor.Make sure that the transmission and engine mounts are solid too.
Other than that,gut the cat,buy a freeflow muffler and cancel the airbox.Fab a cold air box instead and use a cone type filter with the largest hose to the airflow sensor that will fit.Maybe also find some 8mm
spark plug wires and an R107 differential (380SL/SLC)to increase the acceleration tremendously.

If u know any ways to increase horsepower on a 280sel plz post to me cheers

thanks for the ideas how much far work it required for those i have one hand in a cast right again thank you i have been all over the internet trying to find so things that i could do. thnks and let me know on the fab work required
