Help me decide 2014 CLS550 vs 2015 CLS550
Hello all. I have just joined the forum and I am looking for advice.
I will purchase a CLS550 soon but I am trying to decide if I should go for the 2014 or the 2015. I have compared the two but I am now looking for real-world, owner's advice and
experience.
For owners of the 2014 CLS550, I would like to know if there are any features and/or benefits on the 2015 that you wish your 2014 had?
And for owners of the 2015 CLS550 (especially those who were in the same situation as me and were considering a 2014), are there any features and/or benefits on the 2015 that
convinced you to get it instead of the 2014?
Any other suggestions, recommendations or advice?
Please advise.
in advance, thank you to all.

I'm commenting as a former car salesman. The CLS's are beautiful, just remember, everytime someone is getting in the backseat say "watch your head" ala 1996 Ford Taurus.
Assuming the price was comparable as new cars, the 2014 should have lost substantial value to the 2015 (I would guess up to 35%, and the 2015 should be at least 15% less than the new 2016 which should be or are out now).
You should be able to "build" a 2015 on KBB or an MB or another site and see what has changed from the previous year.
And here is my advice. If you keep a car 5 or 6 years or more, buy the one you like. If you tend to trade out in 2 or 3, the year and the mileage will always determine what you get in trade. If in doubt and the cars are similarly equipped and priced, by the one with the lower miles and the best warranty.

Thanks for the advice.
Although there many cosmetic features of the 2014 CLS550 that I liked, ultimately the newer tech (new COMAND infotainment, 9-speed transmission, etc) won me over.
A few weeks ago, I placed an order for factory build on a 2016 CLS550. Now I am just anxiously waiting for delivery.
