Feeling very stupid, I was putting a battery in the 81 380sl and connected it backwards -major sparks. I turned the battery around (correctly) and it still sparks and shorts. What do I check net (besides feel really stupid)? Is there a main diode that shorts or have I nuked the whole car? I checked the fuses in the passenger foot-well they are intact. Are there other fuses?
