Default Handbrake problem clk

I have a problem when trying to disengage the handbrake . When I pull on the lever it is not fully lifting the handbrake pedal and I have to lift the last inch usoing my foot on the pedal and the pulling on the handle . Any ideas what is wrong and how to fix it ?

Thanks Gavin

Hi,
You'll have to get to your foot brake splitter. This is under the rear seats in the middle. Once you've found it, Lubricate and give it a "jiggle" to free it off a bit and then you'll need to adjust it- 13mm spanner- then you're done.
Hope this helps!
