GLK350 - Break Assist System (BAS)
In my new GLK350, I find the breaks very hard compared to other models (C 300). Also, the stopping distance is more in GLK350.
Did anyone experience the same or know more about this problem? I feel if I had to stop the vehicle immediately (esp. in freeways), it may not.

I do not think the braking system has anything to do with it being a SUV (crossover infact). I have driven MDX and CRV and those vehicles stop pretty nicely.
I read about this problem with GLK on other sites too but no real solution or answer.
