have 300 e wagon 89. It has been stalling lately and becoming more frequent when it stalls it does start right back up. I drov e home tonight with fuel light

on and when i arrived at house i slowly entered drive way and it stalled . I am parked on a slant , when i went out tonight to move it it would not start i am thinking that i could be out of gas if so is there a certain procedure to follow with fuel pump? priming. I am not sure also octane what octane is suggested,
I sensed that i could hear the pump so that is why the assumption, thanks
