Gas Door Release button???

Default Gas Door Release button???
Hello i'm new to this forum and to mercedes ownership. My father has just purchased a 1996 mercedes C280 and he bought it yesterday now we are getting low on fuel and went to the gas station like 15 minutes ago spending like 10 minutes looking for release button for the gas door with no luck so I was hoping to see if any mercedes owners can help us with our dilema. Any advice or known knowledge on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Travis

push the door on the side to open the door,, just push the one side in there is no release
