I have a 280SE European 1982, which occasionly will just die on me, have replaced fuel pump, filter, etc. However just driving along the car will just kill , like it lost power or something and it will not restart, although it will crank over just fine. Maybe in a few days you will try it again and it will start. Does anyone think this could be the ignition switch? Any suggestions or thoughts would be great. [8D]

better get a basic check so we can get a lead.

separate the diagnosis at least between fuel and ignition.
