Anybody out there familiar with this european model ? Have replaced the fuel pump, filter, tried to find a fuel pump relay however no luck there. Car will just die on you and hardly ever start back up. Right now it is dead, will turn over fine however will not fire up unless I pour gas directly into the whatever you call it , it is not a carberator but under the air cleaner, then it will run until that gas has been used. Is there a fuel pump shut of switch on this model, and does anyone know which relay socket pins I can jumper out to see if it is the fuel pump again, and to tell you the truth I don't even know is the fuel pump located behind the back passenger wheel ? As you can probably all see, I am new at this European game, but I love this car, please help. Thanks.

 

on the firewall. beside the a/c relay. almost same size and look. black box.
