I need help!!! I have a 1992 190 E 2.6 with just over 100,000 miles. About six weeks ago I started having problems starting it, it fired OK but seem that there was no fuel. On other days it started fine. Then sometimes when I stopped at a light, it just cut out and sometimes it would start right up and other times I had to leave it for an hour or so. My local mechanic has checked the fuel pump and fuel pressure, but does not have the diagnostic computer, so is stumpted. My local Mercedes dealer says his equipment won't work on anything prior to 1996.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me.
