About every other time I start the car a big puff of white/gray smoke comes out of the exhaust. Also, if I accelerate too quickly, I hear a click and smoke comes flying out of the exhaust and continues every time I hit the gas. This problem is more common after I have been driving for 10 minutes+.

I was not great about changing the oil, and my mechanic has changed it twice in the past month. He also changed the filters and spark plugs. He can't figure out the problem.

Did you ever find out the problem with the white smoke. I am having a similar problem with new crank sensor, new valve body, filters and spark plugs
