Engine performance
My Mercedes 88' 190 E, runs runs good for about 10 miles. Once it warms up, it dies on me. It takes another 10 to 12 minutes to start again. After that it runs for about a minute then dies again. What would cause this problem?? Could it be a fuel related, or anignition problem. I alsocleaned all of my harnes connectors around the engine with electric fluid. Nothing on my engine has been tampered with.

RE: Engine performance
Just a few ideas but I don't know much about your specific model.
Likely spark is going off for some reson.
Do you have one or many coils? If one possibly the coil.
Do you have a conventional distributor? If so it could be the condenser / points inadequate clearance.
Do you have electronic injection? If so could be a temp sensor or even the crank position sensor.
The problem sounds to be temperature relature hence the 10min recovery time.
Stuart.
...or possibly "clogged" fuel filter or tank strainer. As the journey proceeds the debris collects on the "sucking" surface within the within. Falls away when engine stops.

RE: Engine performance
Also if you're running a distributorless ignition you should have your ignition control module checked. When these go bad they tend to cut out when it gets hot, which cuts all spark to the motor. Then when it cools down again you'll be able to start it back up.
Generally you can take these to be tested at autozone for free.
