Hi all

During ownership of my 2001 E-270cdi, i have three times encountered problems with electronics.


After the preheat indicator turns off, i start the engine, and the info dashboard announces 2 malfunctions.
EPC failiure, and another that i can't remember. Also the only drive-gear available is 1st.

When turning the engine off, counting to ten, and then crank it again - all malfunctions disappears, and all drivegears are again available.

is this a common failiure?

The car has been chiptuned with a Brabus D-4 unit, which unfortunatly has failed, so no longer part of engine management. could this have influence?
