I've just been gifted a '92 300. Works find, but the electrical system is killing me. When I unlock or lock the doors with the key, both windows on the driver's side lower automatically. They lower also if I unlock the trunk. If anybody has dealt with a similar problem please let me know where I should start the fix. Thanks.

 

it will only do that if you press the button for longer than 3 seconds. it's a convenience feature.

 

Sleepwalker: Thanks for the reply. I am wondering if there is any way to disable this function. It is very bothersome - moreso when the windows have a hard time rolling up. I am not sure that this is a very convenientl function. Thanks. joelram

 

just press the button momentarily whenever locking or unlocking the car. once the signal is recieved, give time for the pse to give it's job.

to dis-able it, we need to hookup the car on the computer and change the coding.

if you will de-synchronize the windows, the automatic opening and closing won't be available.
