2016 GTS fan noise after shut engine. Is it normal for the ECU to be running after car is shut off? I restarted car and shut off and noise stopped.

 

Hello and welcome to the forum! A lot of cars have a 'cool down' period where the fan turns on but will turn off by itself a few minutes later. I've never heard of the actual ECU making a noise, is it a buzz sound or what?

 

Thank you for getting back to me. It was a fan like noise coming from ECU. kept running for over 5 min restarted car then shut off and noise went a way. Sure it was going threw a cool down period. Never heard before and thought it was running for a long time.
