[X(] I recently purchased a 1987 560SL and during my inspection of the engine ... I noticed an electronic component leaking gasoline. I checking I found it was an EAH valve which is mounted on the fuel distribution housing. I think it only leaks just after the engine is turned off. What is this valve for? It is a very expensive component and I do not want to replace it but if that is the only way to stop the leak I may have to. I did check on the 2 o-rings and the seemed fine. What is this valve for and is the leak causing a problem? Hope you can help.
