Default e430 front parktronic/parking sensor fault

Hi,

just bought a e430 and the front parking sensors aren't working, yet the rear are. Are the front and rear controlled by the same box? How does one test the snsors and is there a seperate fuse for the front units. I would be very rateful if someone could tell me where the control box is located and the repalcement part numbers for the sensors and the control box,

Parktronic module in trunk (behind trim) or under rear seat. Sorry can't be more precise.
One module covers front and rear.
Extremely unlikely all six? sensors fail on the front at the same time so suspect multiplug has bad connection behind front bumper.
Module part number is on a label stuck to it. Unlikely to be the cause.
Get MB to read the system codes and this will pinpoint the cause.

You ask about the sensors. Are both displays working OK?

Mny thanks for help so far.

Rear display working and beeping. No lights or sound on the dash display (to be honest never seen one working - but there is no life at all).

Forgot to add this is a wagon (estate).

Had a look under the covers in the rear seats, one side fuses and a pump(? - whats that - its encased in foam) and other side has just one small electronics module that doesnt have enough connectors
