hello everyone i have a 1988 300e 124 body style.one of my 2 fuel pumps just went out and i was wondering if i can replace justthat one or will i need to replace both.also when i do replace it/them do i have to replace the fuel filter as well.im sure i should while im down there but im not sure if ill have the cash for a filter as well.thanks and let me know if any other info is needed.

Replace both with a new relay, make sure all contacts are clean and no melting is present.

 

Good rule of thumb is to replace both fuel pump with new check valves!
