I just purchased a 2005 SL500. The orange digital clock in the center of the dash is very dim, and I can barely see it unless it is at night. Is there any adjustment other than turning the reset button on the instrument cluster (this does not get it bright enough). Dealer replaced the light sensor, but no improvement.

Is it possible to have the time displayed in the instrument cluster (like on other Mercedes models) or on the Command Unit display?
