I have a 06' C230 and can't figure out how to control the defrost on this thing, it seems that it is either high heat or nothing at all. I have to believe that there is a way to control this, please help. It gets old turning the defrost on and off on a muggy day.

 

you can adjust the air flow by the **** on the climate control unit, turn the **** to the up arrow not the floor or vents, but the arrow up, this will blow air to window and you can adjust blower speed.

 

So you turn the climate control arrow upwards which makes sense, but when you hit the actual "front defrost" button, that sucker goes full tilt and I can't turn it down. So basically it sounds like that "front defrost" feature is for a completely frosted/snowy/foggy windshield which would make more sense, am I close.

 

correct when you push defrost it is full defrost high heat. unless you use up arrow then you can adjust fan and temp.
