Command navigation overheats and "freezes"
Hi all,
Afterabout 6 hours of use the navigation system"freezes". The roadmap remains "frozen" on the screen but there is no movement of map, no markerand no verbal instructions.
As it only happens on very long rides, I suspect that it has to do with overheating. Somebody told me that it could be due to a misfunctioning cooler behind the command module. I have an S-Class 500 from 1999.
Has anybody got experience with this problem? Thanks a lot.
