CLK500 is Chirping

My 2004 Clk500 is chirping when it is just parked. started a day ago and its still going. Called the dealer but they said it would be the battery. I just found out that my warranty expired. Now have to wait till17 March to find out whats wrong. anyway to turn it off till then?How much will everything run thru the dealer? thanks

What was the cause of the chirping?

How. Much did it cost?
