I have a 2002 clk 55 amg that won't start. When you turn the key it tries to turn over but cuts off. If you keep the key turned it will try to start quickly stop and keep doing the same thing. The battery is fine anyone see this problem?

 

I have had the same problem a couple of times recently. The engine turns briefly then stops and all the lights come on the dashboard. It will do this a few times then actually turn over and start so clearly the battery is okay.
The only problem I have had previously is with the soft top which has been stubborn at times.

Anyone got any ideas????
