A-Class Import Cancelled

Just read an article that MB was discontinueing plans to import the A-Class line.

because Mercedes is considering to import the Smart brand to the U.S. when the SmartFour (or whatever) comes out. </P>

I persoanlly think the Smart would actually have a bigger market than the A-class. Although Smarts have small engines, but it does provide great handling with its rear engine rear drive setup. Where the A class is a front engine front drive, and it is nothing more than a mini-minivan. </P>
