circuit-breaker problem
I have a problem with my mercedes E220 bought in 1994:
the circuit breaker is on, so i can't start the car, and the remote control does not deactivate it, it doesn't seem to work, but the battery in it is ok... Is there another way to deactivate the circuit breaker, maybe manually? Or a number I can call for help? Thank you
Sorry for my bad english, I'm french...

Hi C280,
I think fabricemalzieu is referring to the immobiliser.I don't do immobilisers since there are so many people out there with first hand experienced. Mine has always worked fine.

that depends on what type of immobilizer. some cuts only the starter, and some both starter and fuel pump.
possible location is on the front footwell.
follow the line from starter solenoid. somewhere on the way to inside, it was cut. reconnect them.
find out the immobilizer brand, find the diagram and modify it.
