Changing S500 front strut
Does anyone have a general procedure for repacing a frontstrut on 2000 S500?
I have taken the old one off-I have gotten the top off the strut mounted, however I cannot get the wheel spindle to drop enough to get the bottomof the strut mounted.
Any suggestions?
Please advise.

Surprised you got the old one off!
Need to disconnect the Torque Control Arm. The one that points "45 degs" forward.
Bushing bolts should be re-torqued with the vehicle at normal ride height (not with its wheels dangling on a lift).
