Changing Instrument Lights on 1997 SL500

I am trying to figure out how to change the instrument cluster lights on my 1997 SL500. Anyone know how I can get at them?

cluster just pulls out from the sides but youll need a hook of somesort. there is a special tool to actually remove it though.
