I wanna change my instrument panel lights. How do I do that?

I am assuming that this is the ML? you need to pop off the panels around the steering column with a wedge type tool or screwdriver will work, move the tilt steering down as far as possible so you can manuever the panels out. the black trim around the instrument cluster just pulls down, you will see to tabs or clips when you remove the panels around the steering column. then 2 small screws on either side of cluster and 2 black clips at the top of the cluster that just pull out. then the cluster will just pull out.
