Hi

any experience with a stuck cupholder cover in the center console?

i was able to take the cupholder apparatus out and thoroughly clean it. while cleaning the bottomi somehow jammed the wood cover down and it won't pop back up to conver the cupholder when its pushed down.

thanks for the heads up and response

i was able to disconnect the cover from the arms - then fiddle with the arms - and reconnect the cover and it works fine now - the previous owner left a lot sticky beverage residue in the cupholder that does not bode well for something with so many intricate parts

While the cup holder is still fresh on your mind,Never spill anything onto the area in front of the holder it will fry the trans module and you will really have a mess.Never happened to me,but read some of the posts on mbworld.org w210 section,Really not fun........
