Center Cap Removal

RE: Center Cap Removal
I use a plastic wedge which I picked up in a harware store, or if you really carefull you can use a thin hook instrument, with a little melted rubber on the back side, made that myself with a shrink piece of rubber and a hot air gun.

Have you tried to tap it out from behind with a hammer handle? I don't know what your wheels look like so this may not work. And, judging by your response to the wiz's reply, taking the wheel off may be too much work for you.

The best method that I know to guarantee no damage is the one Lugnut suggested. Sure it's a bit more work, but these caps are made not to come out any other way. That's why the only way people can steal them in one piece is to take the whole wheel.
