car won't unlock or start - 2002 C240

Electronic remote doesn't lock or unlock car (key battery is fine), can't turn key in the ignition, nothing works... the kicker - the car alarm goes off every so often and I can't turn it off. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like a key code problem. Perhaps your key needs to be coded to the car. What are the particulars on your car. Yr/Make/Chassis/Eng. etc.

YES I AM SORRY TO SAY THIS ITS GONNA BE YOUR EIS SWITCH AND IT CAN ONLY BE REPLACED BY MB THATS 1, IS YOUR CAR BATTERY OK IF OK CHECK FUSES NUM 57,51,30 THATS THE SUPPLY TO EIS YOU WILL FIND THE FUSE DESIGNATION ON RIGHT HAND SIDE OF YOUR DASH TO OPEN COVER WEDEGE A FLAT BLADE....LET ME NO HOW YOU GET ON...... IF YOU WANT THE SIREN DISCOUNTED REMOVE FUSE NUM 8 FROM TRUNK ITS ON YOUR LEFT SIDE ...GOOD LUCK NAZ B
