car is too low error
Hello, I have a 2000 mercedes cl500 and I am gettingan error that reads stop, the car is too low. I looked at my right front tire and saw that it was extremely low. I took the car over to the dealership and they told me that it is over $2000 to fix the hose and replace the fluids. I wanted to know if there is a better work around then shelling out the 2k to the dealership. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi,
Does your car have ABC (Advanced Body Control)?
Airmatic / ABC problems can be very expensive dependent upon what is wrong.
What does the garage say is wrong and did they examine the car to give this diagnosis.
"Hose and fluids" suggests ABC hose failure and if so a repalcement hose and refil shouldn't cost that much.
It all depends which hose and why.

I just got it back from the shop, they said it was a leak in the hose. It is a small leak so they flushed and then refilled the abc fluid. They told me that they don't replace just the hose so they would need to replace the entire unit for a price of $2300.
