Can motor be rebored?

Can motor be rebored?

I have scratched Mercedes 1982 model SEL500 all alumina cylinder.Is this plated ?How to repair it?

If your talking about scratched cylinders then yes any good machine shop can either hone or bore the motor for a price, if the cylinders do not have enough meat then you will have to re-sleave them.
