Default cam chain tensioner bolt removal

Hi All,
I am removing the head off my 1978 230. 4 cylinder petrol merc, w123
For the life of me I cannot seem to remove the bolts or should I say inner threaded stud type set up that holds the static side of the cam chain guides in place, those that know them will know they are a flush face stud that has a 6mm internal thread, I have tried without gain to screw in a 6mm bolt with a nut on it and tightened up the bolt hopping to then back out the cam chain guide stud, no luck, are these left hand thread??
Any help would be very welcome.

Hi deemerc,

Look your part up on the internet to see if even has threads on the other end. Are you sure its not simply pressed in?
