Default C320 start up issue

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has come across their MB to suddenly stop starting up. The car drove beautifully yesterday and today nothing. The keyfob was playing up and somehow unlocked the car door. Put the keyfob in the ignition and nothing happens except the lights onthe dashboard light up. Thats as far as it goes.

I am completely bamused by this and since having the car its been fine up until today.

I took the battery out and checked it and all seems fine. charge is there. and put it back in again.

checked some fuses and nothing unusal.

This is confusing...someone said it could be immoboliser?????

Help?

Hi Guys,

It turned out the previous owner had put a low rating battery.....I changed this to a Borsch with high rating (5 year guarantee).

The car is sweet, more repsonsive and runs better.

The old battery had a bad cell and was failing to charge...
