C280 Throttle Actuator CEL

I have a '95 C280 with the check engine light frequently coming on. My mechanic checked the codes and tells me that the throttle actuator needs to be replaced (crappy wiring like the wire harness which I just replaced). The car runs perfectly fine except for the rotten CEL. How hard is it to replace the throttle actuator body for a diy? I can get my rebuilt for about $400 but I would rather save a few bucks on the removal and reinstallation.
