C230 question

I have a 1997 C230. The Economy light will not disengage no matter how may times I press it. Does that mean the a/c systme needs to be recharged, or is it an electrical problem?

Yes 90 percent of the time is it means you have a low charge. charge it with freon then you will have to get the codes cleared out of the system in order for the light to go out
