Hello, I recently purchased a 1999 c230 kompressor with 63k on it. There are two thing that are worrying me a little. The first issue is the transmission. I understand that the transmission is supposed to ride out the gears a little longer when the car is cold to warm it up. This seems to be working but the shifts during this warming period are far from smooth. Also when I am slowing the car to go around a turn or to come to a stop it shifts hard back into 1st gear. This seems to help the brakes but I would have thought MB would have made this smoother. The second issue that I am concerned about is a somewhat choppy idle. The rpms bounce around a little when the car is stopped and idling. Are these legitimate concerns that I should take up with the warranty? If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated.
