The emergency front turn signal(situated in lower front skirting) flashes instead of the normal signal (contained in the Headlight complex) indicating the normal lamp needs renewing. But the normal lamp is perfect.

 

iF the bulb ia multi filament, the turn signal and perhaps parking lights will work, bu the emergency flashers are usually a on a separate filament. Check very closely to see all filament are OK. Or the flasher relay is bad. Got to be one or the other.
