Default Brakes

I had my back brakes changed and now when i step on pedal it goes to the floor. I have to pump them up in order to stop correctly. Would bleeding the brakes help correct this. I was told air could have gotten in the breake booster if so how do I get it out. Any help would be appreciated. I have a 2002 C-240, no sport package Thanks
