Default brake dust solutions?

Is there a product out there that can be sprayed on the wheels when cleaning that will help keep all the brake dust off?
Oh, one last question, what do you guys recommend for cleaning and drying off the Benz with? Products? Towel?
This my first nice ride.
I want to make sure I am doing everything correctly.
My wife thinks I love the car more that her.
Not true, but close.
Thank you!

I don't have a particular product in mind that keeps the brake dust off beside rinsing the wheels off often before it becomes alomst permantly bakes to the wheel.

To dry off my car I usually use a good quality chamosis towel. Or a good lint free cloth. And of course it has to be clean so it won'ts cause swirl marks or leave unsightly lint behind.

I hear that alot from people's wives. I guess I'm lucky that I'm single because I can give all my attention and affection to my Mercedes without anyone nagging me to death.

Try a heavy duty paste wax, it will help keep the rims from pitting and also makes removing the brake dust easier.

Does this wax dull chrome? I tried a few of those waxes, they worked but made the chrome look dull.

Look for something that boasts an anti-static property. Zaino Bros sells a polish that's anti-static, but it's not a spray.

If you're looking for something that won't allow any brake dust to cling at all, then stop looking. There's no such thing. You may want to take a different approach and research brake pads that produce a minimum amount of dust.

Thanks guys for the input!
I will try wax.
Wax on wax off. Wax on wax off.

I just need to come to the realization that brake dust is going to be a daily chore.

There also may be brake covers too. I know they are available for the Durango, not sure about Mercedes products.

cleaning and drying off the Benz with?
Turtle Wax works great, same with Black Magic for rims and Armorall spray for interior.

Thanks for the response AMG!

Do you use turtle wax everytime you wash your car?

Not all the time, we usually just run it through an auto car wash/wax.
