When having body work done, like a door being replaced and painted, how can you insure the shop is using an authentic door instead of an aftermarket door. We have experience with aftermarket doors and fenders basically NOT fitting properly and being too thin, so we are insisting on authrntic parts. How can we make sure we get what we pay for?

Tell them ahead of time that they will be obligated to show you the receipts and certify all parts that they provided. Let them know that anything but authentic parts will be rejected. Write a contract if you have to.
