blurtooth set up problem

blurtooth set up problem
I have an 03 CLK 500. Bought used in 05 with 5k on it.
I am trying to use the pre-wired phone set up.
Purchased the cable and blurtooth "puck" from the dealer and plugged into outlet in center console.
The led doesn't light. went back to dealer and he tried another cable and puck.
Still nothing. Now they suggest I bring it in and pay them to solve.
I have checked all the related fuses. Any ideas what's up? Doug
