Default Blower motor 1985 500 SEL

The blower motor under the passenger side dash won't run when normally connected. *I jumpered it to the battery and it ran fine. *I also checked the fuses and also checked that various voltage amounts (depending on which pins were tested) were coming from the terminals on the fan control switch side of the climate control module. *Still the motor apparently does receihve those voltajge outputs to run. *I also grounded the cold engine lock out wire (located left rear of engine) to see if that switch may bad and still couldn't get the blower fan to run. *I can't trace the green with red stripe wire from the blower motor to its source so I was unable to check continuity with an ohm meter for that wire. *The two brown wires running from the fan motor did seem to have continuity to the climate control module. *Any assistance to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated. *Incidentally, the turn signals don't turn on now but is that related to the fact I disconnedted the hazard, roof, etc. switches located above the climate control module? *Sorry for the long post. *Oh, the car is a 1985 500 SEL.
